Oh-Chef agrees with you ! Nothing beats a good evening at home with your friends or family. Of course, we all say to ourselves that we do not necessarily want to cook for hours and even less to pay for all the guests...
From now on, we give you more than the opportunity of having the services of a chef at your home. With "Split the Bill", Oh-Chef lets you split the total costs of your event between your relatives.
1. I select my chef and a menu
I select a chef and his menu. If necessary, I am sharing my remarks with the chef. Based on your date and your area, Oh-Chef performs an initial check on the availability of the chef.
2. I personalize and I invite
I customize my Oh-Chef event by filling the place, the date and the drink policy. Then, I fill the list of guests with whom I will share the bill.
3. I pay my share
I pay directly online for my share(s).
4. My guests answer
Oh-Chef sends directly the invitations to my friends and my family, who have 72 hours to respond and pay online.
5. The chef confirms his availability
The chef confirms its availability within 48 hours and books the date for you during 72 hours. If the chef is not free, you and your guests will be fully refunded.
6. Your booking is validated
Once the minimum number of guests is reached, the booking is confirmed. Your guests who have not responded yet can still continue to reserve. If the minimum number of guests is not reached after 72 hours, all those who made payments will be refunded.
What is happening after my reservation?
First of all, your chef confirms its availability within 48 hours and keeps the date for you during 72h. Oh-Chef will send you a confirmation email and an invitation email to the guests you invited to your event. Your guests will have 72 hours to respond to your invitation and pay online. Once the minimum number of guests is reached, your reservation is confirmed. Your guests who have not responded yet can still continue to reserve.
What will happen if the minimum number of guests is not reached?
If the minimum number of guests is not reached after 72 hours, all those who made payments will be refunded.
I made a reservation but 48 hours later, I still have no news of my chef, what should I do?
It may from time to time, between slicing and dicing, our chefs are a bit overloaded, especially on weekends. Most of the time our chefs react very quickly. But, if it takes more time, do not hesitate to contact our butler (email@example.com) who will be happy to help you.
What will happen if the chef is not available?
Your butler will contact you to offer you an alternative. If the alternative does not suit you, you will of course be fully refunded.
What opportunities are available to me for drinks?
With the feature "Split the Bill", three options are available to you for drinks:
1. You can offer the drinks to your guests ;
2. Your guests bring drinks ;
3. Your guests pay a contribution, on site, for drinks.
How can I make a special request or refer to an allergy?
If you are allergic to certain products or if you are having trouble finding the perfect menu, our chefs will be happy to accommodate your desires. Send your remarks to the chef when you book. You can also contact your butler (firstname.lastname@example.org) which, when in doubt, will help you with joy. However, keep in mind that some requests may have an impact on the price.
May I cancel my reservation?
Chefs prepare the event in advance and that implies certain non-refundable costs. According to our cancellation policy, if you cancel the event:
1. more than 14 days before the date of the event, you will be fully refunded, except booking fee and payment costs (3,5%);
2. between 72 hours and 14 days before the date of the event, you will be refunded of 50%;
3. no refund is possible if you cancel less than 72 hours before the date of the event.
The cancellations of "Split The Bill" booking will be handled directly with your butler who will try to find the most interesting alternative for you (change of location ...) while respecting the interests of the chef.
Is the payment really secure?
Our payments are secured by PAYPAL. You can pay your booking by credit card or Maestro.
